Tracker Installation Instructions

Basic Truck Tracker Installation

NOTE: When installing the device make sure both the orange and green light come on and that the device is in an area with cellular coverage. Also insure the vehicle stays in good cellular coverage for 1 hour after installation.

  • Attach the red wire to constant 12 volt power.
  • Attach the white wire to ignition 12 volt power.
  • Attach the black wire to ground.
  • The other wires are not used for basic installation.
  • Use zip ties to mount the device under the dash with the label pointed towards the sky at least 12 inches from the radio with no large metal object (steering shaft) between it and the sky.

Basic Trailer Tracker Installation

NOTE: When installing the device make sure both the orange and green light come on and that the device is in an area with cellular coverage. Also insure the vehicle stays in good cellular coverage for 1 hour after Trailer trackers are shipped with no charge on the battery. The trailer must be attached to a truck for it to be powered, it takes 24-48 hours to completely charge the internal battery on the TTU-1200.

  • Attach the red and white wire to a wire that will be 12 volt power when connected to a truck.
    On a refer trailer you can just wire this to the battery for the refer unit.
  • Attach the black wire to ground.
  • The other wires are not used for basic installation.
  • Use screws to attach the device to your trailer.
